Mr. Feng Xiaochun Meets Vice President of Panasonic

On October 9th, Secretary of Yixing CPC Mr. Feng Xiaochun met Vice President of Panasonic and CEO of Panasonic China & Northeast Asia Company Mr. Tetsuro Homma. Both sides had a communitaion on enhancing friendly exchange and deepening cooperation. Chairman of Yada Mr. Jiang Jianning and the municipal leaderships Mr. Yu Renjun, Mr. Chu Hongbiao and Ms. Liu Ying attended the meeting.

Mr. Feng Xiaochun welcomed Mr. Tetsuro Homma and other delegations and gave a brief introduction on Yixing’s economic and social development.

Mr. Feng said, Yixing, locating in the geometric center of Yangtze River Delta, is a balanced development city in high speed in the fields of industries, urbanization, ecology and culture. In particular in the recent years, focusing on high-quality development requirements, Yixing insisted on the core strategy of innovation driving and the leading strategy of strengthening the city by industry. It offered great support to the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, such as cables and cords, energy conservation and environment protection and non-metallic material. It firmly carried forward the renovation of pollution companies, and made all efforts to develop strategic new industries such as integrated circuit, new energy and life health, driving the comprehensive competitive power of Yixing in the nationally top list. In last year, the commercial environment of Yixing listed the No. 5 in the province.

According to Mr. Feng, Panasonic had high popularity, reputation and strong industrial power. It worked with Yada to build up Yada Panasonic Community in Yixing which had great influence in the surrounding regions and all over the country. The Community had become a good window to display the healthy aged care concept, technology products and related service of Panasonic. Now, Yixing was gathering powers to create the regional internationalization center city. It fully accelerated the pace of structure management and transformation. He expected Panasonic to work with Yixing, making good use of industrial advantages, widen cooperation fields, deepening cooperative potential and enabling mutual winning based on good cooperation.

Mr. Tetsuro Homma gave a brief introduction on Panasonic’s business in China and its enterprises in Wuxi. He said, Panasonic entered into China’s market in 1978. Since then, it has built good cooperation with Wuxi. Now, in Wuxi, Panasonic has had six companies. Panasonic built strategic partnership with Yada to build up an international healthcare smart community in Yada Yangxian Xishan in 2019. Since then, Panasonic had close relationship with Yixing. Panasonic’s business covered healthcare, aged care, integrated circuit and new energy. These matched with Yixing’s development. He expected to further communication, cooperation and development based on this exchang.
