Celebrate Motherland’s Birthday & Create Happy Home

On the afternoon of October 1st, the 73rd anniversary of founding of China, Yangxian Xishan Clubs’ National Day Party with the name of “Celebrate Motherland’s Birthday and Create Happy Home” was held at Yada Culture & Art Center.

The elderly from Sunshine Club danced waist drum to welcome neighbors and friends from all over the nation.

The Party began with the chorus by Sunshine Club, ncluding the songs of My Motherland and Return from the Shooting Range. Their singing full of emotion showed the spirit of Xishan elderly and their happy life.

The tenor solo, mezzo-soprano solo and song charcoal burning pushed the atmosphere into new high.

One resident of Yangxian Xishan recited his own poem “Most Romantic Thing”. The clubs’ chairmen recited Beautiful China. Every verse expressed their love to Yangxian Xishan and great China.

Peking Erhu playing, Erhu solo, saxophone playing and calligraphy with music … brought a wonderful feast to the audience.

Peking Opera brought the audience the charm of traditional opera art. Dance solo showed the romance by light steps and poses. Fitness dance was dynamic and energetic, showing the enthusiasm and vigor of Xishan residents.

Sunshine Club performed the waist drum dance. The waist drum dance team was organized by Ms. Jin shuxi in 88 years’ old. Ms. Chen Fengmei at 82 offered guidance and led the dance. The average age of the team was near 70s.

Lakeside Singing Enthusiasts Club performed a chorus. Soft tones was like sounds of nature.

The Activity ended with the chorus My Country and I. All participants waved flag and sent best wishes to motherland by singing.

The residents of Yangxian Xishan and hosts of Yixing Convergence Media Mr. Li Jun and Ms. Sun Xiaohong hosted the activity. The Party was sponsored by Sunshine Club, organzed by Yada Academy, and supported by Xishan Tea Club, Lakeside Singing Enthusiasts Club, Dong Da Research and Study Club, Ji Ya Painting and Calligraphy Club, Xin Yin Ceramics Club, Qing Fen Orchid Club, Xishan Philharmonic Club, CattleClass Film Club, Xishan Drama Club and Xishan Culture Volunteers Union.

In recent years, Yangxian Xishan is committed to create a neighborhood of friend and help, as well as a sharing community atmosphere. By establishing clubs, residents who have the same hobbies and interest gather together, creating happy home and good life.
