At Graceland, we spent a memorable National Day holiday festival, for open-air cinema, vintage fair, original hand makings, talent performance, Double Ninth Festival Party and etc. Residents gathered to celebrate the National Day holiday and experience a colorful vacation.

ONE | Wonderful Time During National Day Festival

In a warm autumn day, Bai Ma Lake was glistening with the sunshine. Everyone was happy with smile on the face. They went to the vintage photo wall to take festival photos, having a joyful memory.

During National Day holiday, many Graceland residents returned here to celebrate the festival. We sat around to sing the praises of our country. We, including the participator of Three Gorges Dam building, the manager at the initial stage of the reform and opening up, the soldier who participated in Vietnam self-defensive war, the later generation of researcher who joined in the first atomic bomb in our country, enthusiasts of Peking Opera, researchers who worked for the industry of aerospace and the pioneer and dancer in the first group of Ballet in our country, gathered to expressed our deep love to our motherland. We shared our stories and highly praised the strength and power of our country.

A holiday cannot go without music. From the dusk to starry night, at Graceland, the music performance with the theme of “A Concert of Autumn” made the audience to open the eyes, ears and heart. It offered an immersive and pure concert.

Did you remember the open-air cinema at the childhood? A piece of screen cloth and an old projector offered a whole night of comfortable time.

During the holiday, at the Lake side, we watched the film “My Fathers and I”. We are moved by the stories and praised the grand time.

Golden Autumn Fair for Limited Wonderful Memory

In the Fair, we entered into the sense of living. Beside Bai Ma Lake, parents could draw pictures and did hand makings with their children.

Children played chess and musical instruments, wrote calligraphy and painted pictures, starting a journey of art.

“Hundred Fortune Graceland” photography exhibition was full of crowds. Every piece of work showed the beauty of Graceland, fixed the change of seasons of Graceland. They interpreted the good life and expressed their love to Graceland and life.

Double Ninth Festival Gathering Love and Warmth

On Double Ninth Festival, we held activities to help the elderly and expressed our respect to them. The Double Ninth Festival Party was full of talent performance, sending warmth and care to the elderly.

We measured blood pressure, mended clothes, cleaned glasses, sent Double Ninth cakes and offered smart phone usage guidance and etc.

Graceland organized a wedding photo taking activity for the elderly over 80 years old, fixing the happy moment of them.

Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Service Center organized the themed activity of “Painting Double Ninth Happiness Birthday Party”. The elderly spent a happy festival together and celebrate the birthday to the elderly who were born in October.

TWO | Leisure Life at Beautiful Graceland

The autumn in Graceland was brilliant. Leisure daily life joined in community activities and had happy time with friends and neighbors who had the common interest.

Our little residents came into the nature experiencing farming life, games, tye-dye and colorful life in Graceland.

THREE | Convenient Supporting Facilities for Leisure Life

For a safe, comfortable and convenient holiday, Graceland staff stayed at their post. Here, life supporting facilities, such as canteens, life supermarket and fruit & vegetable shop, offered special menu of National Day holiday. Residents could have a convenient life here.
