Pursuit of Light | Recording Beautiful Moment of Xishan

On the morning of November 2nd, the 13th club at Yangxian Xishan – Big Eye Photography Club was set up. Shutterbugs at Xishan gathered at Yada Academy to exchange their understanding on taking photos and shared good life.

At the beginning, club members had a group art collection for photography at Town Center. Going around the picturesque Xishan town, they sometimes bent over to take photos, and sometimes gave ear to communicate, recording wonderful moments in autumn days.

After collection, participants gathered at Yada Life Bookstore to discuss matters on the establishment of Photography Club. They initially fixed the organization chart and club laws. President of Photography Club Mr. Lu Ke introduced the original intention to set up the club. By regular theme lectures and shooting activities, the club wanted to improve members’ photography skills, enrich the amateur cultural life at the community and enhance the neighborhood.

Mr. Liu Xuezhong, one member of China Photographers Association and President of The Chorus Film Club, remarked members’ works from the aspects of photography skill and photo composition creativeness, and shared his photography experience.

For picturesque landscape, Yangxian Xishan becomes an ideal place for shutterbugs to collect inspiration and the “photography base” of the town residents in front of their homes. It has been the integral part of daily life for them that recording beautiful moments of Xishan.

In recent years, more and more people choose Yangxian Xishan as their sojourn destination, even some regard it as their first residence. Here are exceptional ecological environment, intelligent wellness & aged care living space, and abundant living supporting facilities and wonderful culture life. As the residents increase, more clubs are emerging. Based on interest and hobby, residents spontaneously set up different clubs. Now, there have been Sunshine Club, Dong Da Research and Study Club, Ji Ya Calligraphy and Painting Club, Xin Yin Ceramics Club, Xishan Tea Club, Lakeside Singing Enthusiasts, Xishan Opera Club, The Chorus Film Club, BMB Music Salon, Xishan Philharmonic Club, Qingfen Orchid Club, Xishan Culture Volunteers Union, Big Eye Photography Club and etc. Ping-pong Club, Outdoor Climbing Club, Opera Club and Health Club are under construction.

These clubs have been the main stage of residents’ spiritual and cultural life. They meet friends and neighbors with the common interest. They learn from each other and exchange experience, making spared life more colorful and life full of vitality and joy.
