We welcome the coming of winter by ceremony, and connect warm neighborhood by delicious taste. On November 7th, the beginning of winter, Gaochun Graceland residents gathered to spend a warm and yummy time with steaming hot food.

Neighbors Gather for the Date of Dumpling

“Winter begins. Winter chills. All families cook dumplings.” Diet according to seasons is intelligence of life from generation to generation, and also the life renaissance that now people pursue. Full of happy laughers and cheerful voices, activity room at Gaochun Graceland attracted more residents to have a “dumpling” meeting.

Residents who were in charge of rolling doughs were rolling colorful dumpling wrappers. Neighbors at washing area were washing Chinese cabbage leaves, and then diced them on cutting boards. With chopped meat and golden egg liquid, Chinese cabbages became fresh and delicious dumpling stuffing.

Well-organized division of labor and tacit cooperation got neighbors familiar with each other. Dumplings with multicolor and varied kinds of wrapper shapes appeared on tables. Which would win the title of creativeness? Looking and stuffing were needed.
