Welcome New Year’s Fortune, Good Things Happen

New Year Concert for A Prelude of Spring

Graceland’s Spring Festival began with the Spring Festival Concert in joyful atmosphere. Moving music and melodious rhythm expressed good expectation and sincere hope for good future. In the Concert, residents recited poems, danced played musical instrument … Various kinds of performance pushed the atmosphere into new high. Every audience was immersive in the music and spend a warm and romantic new year party together.  

Minor New Year Gathering, Strong Festival Sense

As the minor new year came, the atmosphere of spring festival at Graceland became stronger and stronger. The Park was filled with happiness and joy. Calligraphy Class students carried out a happy calligraphy “competition” with neighbors and friends. They wrote spring couplets and Fortune characters. Children hold these works and took photos with them. Other residents are making paper cutting for window decoration. In the minor new year day, we gathered for a joyful memory.

Joyful Lantern Festival, Harmonious Graceland Families

In the joyful reunion day, Graceland residents gathered together to make sweet dumplings, guess lantern riddles, make flower lanterns, write wishes, wear Han clothing and play many traditional games. All people enjoyed themselves in the holiday.

Yada （Wuzhen） Elderly Center organized Joyful Lantern Festival activities for the elderly. They also used live streaming to make a cloud reunion between the elderly and their relatives on the internet for a happy Lantern Festival.

A Date in Warm Spring for Interesting Classes

Spring is the beginning of four seasons, also the prelude of a year. It is a season full of hope, glories and expectation. Graceland University for the Aged welcomed the 2022 Spring Semester. More than 50 courses enabled our pursuit of “a studious elder and a happy elder”. All students helped each other and made mutual improvement. In daily life, they built up a good friendship for a good life. The Academy also offered pick-learning courses for short stay residents. They could flexibly choose and experience the academic life in the University.

Friend Neighborhood for A Home Full of Love

Neighborhood Life Festival Full of Warmth and Joy

Sunny summer days make us pleasant. Neighborhood Life Festival was held at Graceland. Residents went around the fair, played musical instrument, talked about daily life, performed what they learned in the University, made handmaking works, traveled in the Park with children, made a date with friends, enjoyed the convenient service and spent a colorful festival.

In the evening, talented residents gathered in the open-air concert, making a wonderful performance. The summer was filled with wonders and surprise.

Happy Reunion during Dragon Boat Festival

As the Dragon Boat Festival was approaching, Graceland was full of happy, joyful and auspicious atmosphere. A series of Dragon Boat Festival folk custom experience, such as traditional handmaking and DIY, and summer fitness and wellness gathering brought good memory to summer days. Residents actively joined in varied kinds of activities to enjoy leisure holiday time.

Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center carried out “Happy Dragon Boat Festival and Past Time Review” themed activity. By Dragon Boat Fair and funny games, the elderly experienced the festival warmth and wishes.

Warm May: Gratitude to Mothers

In Mothers’ Day, Graceland is filled with warmth and happiness. Many mothers made DIY mosaic coasters with children. Children wrote down thanks to their mothers. In such as a special day, mothers were immersive in the yoga experience to relax their bodies and nourish the mind. Some mothers made carnation brooches as the festival’s wishes.

Gratitude for Fathers’ Great Love

Fathers’ love is as great as the mountains. Residents gathered at Graceland to send the festival wishes to hard-working fathers. Fathers released their vigor and enthusiasm in activities. A series of interactive games enabled the whole family to participate in.

At Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center, the elderly was joyful. They were playing a “ten thousand miles travel of ball” game and enjoyed the joy of game.

Happy Birthday Party with All of You

Birthday is a day full of love and warmth. Graceland always put the care to residents in the first place. In every month, it held resident birthday party. The party contained abundant content. Residents gathered together to spend good time.

A Joint-Established Community by Neighbors

In 2022, more than 30 clubs of Graceland organized nearly one thousand themed activities, which improved the interaction between all club members and enriched residents’ spare-time culture life.

All volunteer teams and good-hearted residents worked together to held many public benefit activities, including Laba Festival, Reading Day, Double Ninth Festival, Library Arrangement and Fire Safety Maintenance, and jointly promoted the public benefit spirit & culture establishment of “Mutual Help, Donation and Sharing” and execute the Park operation concept of “joint establishment, joint management and joint sharing” to improve the comprehensive management level of the Park.

Good Cool Summer Night – Endless Joys and Happiness

Cool Summer Night Festival offered residents weekly wonderful feasts. During the Festival, audience enjoyed music, Latin dance, street dance, zheng, solo, chorus, recitation and other talent performance.

Members from Graceland clubs made wonderful performances, including musical instrument playing, dancing, show and poem recitation. There were also some interesting events to create joyful time, such as blind date party, child-parent interesting interaction, open-air film and Past Time fair.

Reunion and Happiness

Mid-autumn Festival Full of Love and Joy

The 15th day in the 8th lunar month is the Mid-autumn day Festival. In such a reunion festival, Graceland residents gathered together again. Graceland service team prepared the Mid-autumn Festival activity. Residents enjoyed the glorious full moon, ate moon cakes, watch performances, and talked about the daily life. They spent the traditional festival with full sense of ceremony.

Yada Hospital carried out the theme activity of “Happy Mid-autumn Festival and Joyful Reunion of Physicians and Patients”. Patients and their relatives felt the care as warm as that at home.

National Day Carnival, Seven-Day Fun

During the National Day Holiday, talented Graceland residents gathered at Graceland to celebrate the festival. They played musical instrument and sang songs to feel the joy of life.

Some residents watched the film My Fathers and I in the open air beside Baima Lake. They gathered together and praised the great times. The “Autumn of Band” music performance brought a vivid and wonderful visual and audio feast. In Golden Autumn Fair, there were diversified events such as parent-child painting and handmaking activities.

In the “Hundred Fortune Graceland” Photography Exhibition, residents display Graceland life by their own perspectives and showed the sceneries in four seasons and good life moments.

Double Ninth Festival, Time for Gathering

In the Double Ninth Festival, we held an activity to show respect to the elderly. In the Festival Party, residents sent their warmth and care to the elderly by talent performance, dance and singing, and other colorful performances. We also organized public benefit activities, such as free blood pressure measurement, free clothing sewing, delivering Double Ninth cakes and free eyesight test.

Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center held “Painting Happiness and Happy Birthday on Double Ninth Festival” theme activity. The elderly gathered to spend a joyful holiday together.

Joy of Harvest at Graduation Ceremony

At Graceland University, the time of learning is always joyful. Teachers and new and old students jointly participated in the Graduation Ceremony. They gathered to talk warmly. In the Ceremony, students brought wonderful performances, singing, dancing, painting, writing calligraphy and etc. They displayed themselves to their heart’s content. In the future, they would gain more joy from study to enrich the daily life.

Love in the Season of Thanksgiving

The Thanksgiving Day & Birthday Party employed the theme of “Gratitude, Love, Harvest and Joy”, bringing warmth and happiness to Graceland resident in the winter. They cut birthday cakes and sang birthday songs. The Event was filled with happy laughers and cheerful voices.  

Amazing Campus Life for Little Residents Growth

With the summer holiday was approaching, the happiness of little Graceland residents came as expected. In Graceland summer holiday campus, children could experience diversified activities, such as outdoor research and study, intangible cultural heritage experience, Lego, calligraphy, painting, film-watching and etc. They gained knowledge and friendship, joy and interest, and grew up happily.

Anya Garden completed the delivery at the end of this year. It offered residents an ideal living space by innovative product design and detailed originality. There was much landscape and activity room, such as the outdoor corridor, book bar, chess & cards and entertainment room. Due to high-quality internal decoration and completed furniture and equipment, resident could move in with baggage. Anya Garden will open the new page of life. Here, resident could spend their happy time with family members.
