Six Ministries Began Pilot Projects of Tightly-knit Urban Medical Group Establishment

Recently, six Ministries including National Health Commission, National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Finance, issued the Pilot Work Plan on Tightly-knit Urban Medical Group Establishment. Two to three cities with districts in each province (or districts of a municipality directly under the central government) will be selected. Within the region, the medical resources will be planed as a whole, and tightly-knit urban medical groups will be deployed in a scientific and proper gridding method. Till the end of 2023, a systemic and integrated supporting policies will be basically formed and a system and mechanism will make a new breakthrough that could promote the development of a tightly-knit urban medical group establishment and development.
