Yada Life Bookstore Selected As "2023 Jiangsu Most Beautiful Bookstore"

Recently, Jiangsu Publications Association announced the "2023 Jiangsu Most Beautiful Bookstore" result. A total of 11 bookstores in the province were on the list. Yada Life bookstore was the only bookstore in Wuxi City to win this honor.

Established in 2019, Yada Life Bookstore is located in Yada Yangxian Xishan, adjacent to Yangxian Lake, with beautiful scenery, a total area of 236 square meters, and a collection of more than 12,000 books, which are personally selected by Yada Academy co-founder Yang Kui, covering 15 categories such as humanities, social sciences and art.

The bookshelves stand on top of the sky and display orderly. Magnolia chandelier elegant reveals the beauty of simplicity. In the middle island, the moon flowers are placed all the year round, and the four seasons of flowers come. The couplets hanging on the central wall of the hall are a collection of poems by Tao Yuanming and Su Dongpo, vividly interpreting the ambient atmosphere and inner spiritual characteristics of the bookstore.

The bookstore has set up a lobby reading area, a small reading area, and a children's reading area, which are equipped with comfortable sofas and low tables for readers to meditate and read in the store. Three reading areas surround the central courtyard of the store, and panoramic Windows allow the natural scenery to blend into the bookstore, which is poetic and interesting.

Yada Life Bookstore holds "Yada Academy Lectures & Talks" from time to time, which is the brand cultural activity of Yada Academy, committed to turning profound theories into chitchat, hiding professional terms into chitchat, and turning deep and thick cultural essence into chitchat in daily life.

Since the event was held on November 23, 2019, writers Ge Fei, Ye Zhaoyan, Mai Jia, cultural celebrities Bai Yansong, Yu Dan, artists Wu Na, Old Wolf, economist Qiu Xiaohua, etc., have been invited to talk about Jiangnan culture and life aesthetics. 

 
The lecture activities adhere to the principle of public welfare first, free to the public, so that local readers can hear the lectures at their doorsteps, widely praised by the society. "Yada Academy Lectures & Talks" has been awarded the "Yixing Public Reading Promotion Demonstration Project" for many years.

In order to further promote national reading, since 2021, the bookstore has organized and launched the "Xishan Leading Reader Program" to share reading feelings and talk about life insights.

Yada Life Bookstore always advocates "aesthetic life, aesthetic life", and carries out various forms of aesthetic experience activities around traditional festivals and the 24 solar terms. It also offers a rich aesthetic experience course, and the fine products of the course results are displayed in the "hand-made beautiful things" area of the bookstore, which attracts many readers to visit the bookstore.
