Regulations on Fire Safety Management of Elderly Care Institutions Issued

Recently, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the National Fire and Rescue Bureau jointly issued the "Regulations on Fire Safety Management of Elderly Care Institutions", which was formally implemented on August 1. The regulations require that elderly care institutions should be set up in legal buildings, and should not be set up in the production, storage and operation of flammable and explosive dangerous goods, factories and warehouses, large shopping malls and markets. Elderly care institutions should implement a 24-hour on-duty system, the on-duty personnel received a fire alarm and confirmed the fire, should immediately call 119 telephone alarm, at the same time to the unit fire safety responsibility person or fire safety manager report, start fire fighting and emergency evacuation plans.
