One-armed Guitar Master Asian Music Exchange Held at Yada Academy

On the evening of August 7^th, Never Give Up - One-armed Guitar Master Asian Music Exchange was held at Yada Academy of Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park. The Chilean’s musician Mr. Andres Godoy shared his life experirence and stories with music.

Mr. Godoy was born in San Antonio, Chile. At 10, he got his first guitar from his grandpa and grandma. Since then, he fell in love with music. At 12, he became a little famous as the local guitar player. At 14, he lost his right arm for an accident. For the love in music, he did not give up guitar and opened his mucic world by the left one arm.

During the interactive talk, Mr. Godoy told the influence from his grandma. With her continuous encourage, he could take care of himself from lacing up his shoes to wearing clothes. Guitar also has become his friend.

Mr. Godoy kept to try playing guitar by one arm and created his own style - Tatap.

He played some guitar songs during the activity and had warm interaction with the audience. He said, he was 70 years old now and would compose more guitar song. He expected to encourage more people to be forward for their own dreams.

He said Yada Yangxian Xishan was beautiful and residents here were warm. He would like to move here.
