Dong Yunhua Fans Special Performance was Held at Yada Theater

On the afternoon of November 25th, 5th Dong Yunhua Fans Special Performance was held at Yada Theater of Yangxian Xishan. Ms. Dong Yunhua offered a wonderful performance with her apprentices and fans for the amateurs of Wuxi Opera and Yada’s residents.

Ms. Dong Yunhua, one national first-class actor, the artist of Wuxi Opera and the representative successor of Jiangsu intangible cultural heritage Wuxi Opera, had great influence in Wuxi Opera. As one of Xishan residents, she expressed her love to the natural landscape. She expected more people to know and love Wuxi Opera by this activities, and accelerate the development of Wuxi Opera under the assistance of fans.

General Manager of Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park Mr. Liu Naifa made the speech. According to him, as one of Xishan residents, Ms. Dong Yunhua always attended the establishment of the Park’s spiritual life positively. She took the role of Opera Posture Course teacher at Yada Academy for two consecutive years. She led her neighbors at Xishan to integrate the beauty of art into life. In addition, she was invited to be the distinguished teacher at Yangzheng Academy of Hufu Experimental School with some Xishan neighbors, assisting the development of local education and displaying the social responsibilities of Yada residents.

As the main sponsor of this Activity, Mr. Zong Wei, one of Xishan residents and the Chairman of Jiangsu Guoxin Union Company told his story about Wuxi Opera. For his love to this Opera, he introduced Ms. Dong Yunhua to Yangxian Xishan and expected popularity of Wuxi Opera at Xishan as one kind of Chinese traditional art.

In the Activity, Ms. Dong Yunhua performed many classic works with her apprentices, leading the audience to enjoy the charm of this Opera in a close distance.

Her apprentices and fans from different regions of China performed on the stage.

During the interaction, fans shared their stories with Wuxi Opera, and awarded Ms. Dong Yunhua a “Fan’s Prize”. Ms. Dong expressed her thanks to her fans and expected to gather together more frequently with them at Yangxian Xishan.

In the Activity, Ms. Dong held the apprentice acceptance ceremony. As the inheritor of Wuxi Opera, she expected the art to develop well.

Mr. Kong Jie, the director and producer of Beijing TV, chaired this Activity. In the past one year, Mr. Kong positively attended the joint establishment of this Community and directed some large-scale art performance here. In the end of this September, he took the role of chief director for Yangxian Xishan New Year Party again.

Since operation in last year, many art performances have been held at Yada Theater, meeting the demands of residents on spirit and culture and promoting the development of local culture.
