Yada Academy Held Dongpo Birthday Party Cultural Gathering

On January 8th 2024, the birthday of Mr. Su Dongpo. Yada Yangxian Xishan Yada Academy held a unique Birthday Party for him. Chinese master of arts and crafts Mr. Xu Xiutang, literature and history expert Mr. Zong Weifang and Yada Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning and Xishan residents from different areas of China who lived here for Mr. Su Dongpo attended the Activity.

Mr. Xu Xiutang shared the drawing of his work Lay Buddhist Dongpo and creation story.

Mr. Zong Weifang told the profound relationship between Mr. Su Shi and Yixing.

Mr. Jiang Jianning pointed out that, “Yangxian Xishan” came from a famous sentence by Mr. Su Shi. At the beginning of planning, he expected to create an ideal home of Mr. Su Shi. He shared the creation story of Dongpo Pavilion that was one of the landmarks in the Town.

The Activity was hosted by Mr. Yang Kui, the cofounder of Yada Academy. He said, there were many beautiful scene in Yangxian Xishan that was same with the atmosphere of Su’s poems.

In the town, there are many residents who love Mr. Su’s culture. The Activity aimed to advocate his spirit, popularize his culture and lead residents to learn the Town’s culture background.
