2nd China Annual Confererence on ICH Proection Grandly Held at Yixing Yaohu Town

From July 20th to 22nd, the 2nd China Annual Conference on Intangible Cultural Heritage was grandly held at Yaohu Town, Yixing, Jiangsu.

The member of the standing committee of National People’s Congress and the chairperson of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of National People’s Congress Mr. Luo Shugang, the member of the standing committee of National People’s Congress and the deputy director of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of National People’s Congress Mr. Gu Xiaoyu, Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism Mr. Rao Quan, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province Mr. Xia Xinmin, Director of China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association Mr. Wang Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary-General of he People’s Government of Jiangsu Province Mr. Liu Jian, Department of Culture and Tourism of Jiangsu Mr. Yang Zhichun, Mayor of the People’s Government of Wuxi City Mr. Zhao Jianjun, Mayor of the People’s Government of Yixing City Mr. Hu Xiaojian and related responsible persons from the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of National People’s Congress, unis directly under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Departments or Bureaus of Culture and Tourism from different levels of provinces, cities and automnomous regions and China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association attended the Event. Ms. Jing Yidan from CCTV chairs the Activity.

In the Opening Ceremony, the Blue Book of China Intangible Cultural Heritage Proopagation 2024 was officially released.

After the Opening Ceremony, distinguished guests visited the Intangible Cultural Heritage Fair.

From July 21st to 22nd, New Mission of Intangible Cultural Heritage in New Times themed Forum was held at Yaohu Grand Hotel.

Yaohu Town, the venue of the Event, was a unique theme resort town. The Annual Conference brought new vigor and energy to the Town. In the future, Yaohu Town will explore the local culture and offering more diversified immersive cultural experience.
