Nine Ministries Issue the Opinions on Accelerating Aged-care Service Industry Talent Cultivation

The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and other seven ministries jointly issued the Opinions on Accelerating Aged-care Service Industry Talent Cultivation. It points out that China will actively explore aged-care talent vocational education at undergraduate level, encourage and guide colleges and universities to set up aged-care service related undergraduate majors such as rehabilitation therapeutics and nursing, and offer relevant courses such as geriatric social work, geriatric nursing and geriatric medicine.
