Five Ministries Release Opinions on Advancing Medical Liability Insurance Program

Recently, the National Health and Family Planning Commission together with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, China Insurance Regulatory Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly issued the Opinions on Enhancing Medical Liability Insurance Work that aims to improve the healthcare industry risk management system, and actively encourage and guide private-owned medical institutions to participate in the insurance.
