Yada Hospital – Singapore CGH Technical Exchange Program Launched

On March 24th 2016, COO of Singapore Changi General Hospital (CGH) Mr. Tay Teng Choon led a medical expert team to visit Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital (“Yada Hospital”) and had an in-depth talk with Vice President of Yada International and Chairman of Yada Hospital Ms. Gao Xiang about the medical technology cooperation. Yada Hospital Director Mr. Xu Bin and Medical Director Mr. Gu Xudong attended the reception. On the same day, Yada Hospital - CGH Rehabilitation and Geriatrics Technical Exchange Forum was held at Yada Hospital.

Vice President Ms. Gao Xiang showed the delegation around Yada Hospital’s diagnosis area, rehabilitation treatment area, nursing center, wards and other supporting facilities such as dining and entertainment, and gave a detailed introduction on the Hospital’s service concept, operation standard and development plan. According to the delegation, they were very impressed by Yada Hospital’s beautiful natural scenery, first-class equipment and facilities as well as medical staff’s hospitality and patience. They gave high praise to Yada International’s determination in exploring healthcare and aged-care industries and Yada Hospital’s professional spirit of striving for excellence. CGH wants to establish long-term friendly partnership with outstanding peers like Yada Hospital for deeper exchanges and cooperation on rehabilitation and geriatrics that both China and Singapore highly concern about.

During the meeting, Vice President Ms. Gao Xiang expressed that Yada International is committed to invest and establish the leading demonstration projects for China’s healthcare and aged-care industries and welcomes industrial leaders like CGH to join in for industry layout extension and product content optimization. Two sides could jointly create classic medial and aged-care service projects by resource integration and complementary advantages, and promote the local and even nationwide industry upgrading.

At the technical exchange forum on the same day, Director of Rehabilitation Medicine Department, CGH, Dr. Sherry Young, Director of Geriatric Medicine Department Dr. Koh Lip Ho and the Department’s specialized nurse Ms. Zhang Di shared the related service procedure in CGH and their management experience, and had focus discussions with Yada Hospital’s colleagues on their concerns.

This exchange deepens the mutual understanding between Yada Hospital and CGH and laid the foundation for more cooperation. The two hospitals intend to negotiate cooperation possibilities in the field of talent education and training, academic exchanges and discussion, medical service innovation, specialty medical consultation and medical tourism, and jointly promote the Sino-Singapore medical interaction.
