NHC: Tertiary Hospitals Mainly Provide Nursing Service for Critical Patients in Future

Recently, 11 departments including National Health Committee, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance jointly issued the guidance on promoting the development and reform of nursing service. According to the document, there will be more than 4.45 million registered nurse in 2020. For improving nursing service system, tertiary hospitals should mainly provide nursing service for critical patients in future, secondary hospitals provide common disease nursing service and nursing home/care centre/rehabilitation medical center provides daily care service.
