Beijing Establishes “Standard Committee” and “Regulatory Committee” for Aged-care Service

Beijing recently established the “Standard Committee” and “Regulatory Committee” for aged-care service. The "Standard Committee" members are composed of experts from various fields such as industry authorities, universities, professional research institutions, and industry enterprises. The Integrity and Self-discipline Regulatory Committee consists of legal experts, credit experts, aged-care institution operators, home service and station operators, members of the municipal aged-care industry association council and board of supervisors, representatives of district aged-care industry associations, representatives of professional associations, deputies to the National People's Congress, members of the CPPCC, etc. The committee is mainly responsible for the organization and implementation of the Beijing Municipality's Self-discipline Convention on the Aged-care Service Industry, and accepts reports and complaints.
