Seven Departments: At Least One Undergraduate College Open Aged-care Major In Each Province

Recently, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Civil Affairs, and Ministry of Commerce jointly issued the "Opinions on Education Supporting the Development of Social Service Industry and Improving the Quality of Training Talents in Shortage". The Document proposes to encourage general undergraduate colleges to set up home economics, Chinese medicine rehabilitation, TCM health, geriatrics, rehabilitation therapy, psychology, nursing and social work majors. In principle, at least one undergraduate college in each province should open majors related to housekeeping services, aged-care services, and childcare services.
