Well-known Economist Qiu Xiaohua Visits Yixing, Analyzing China's Economy under Great Changes

On December 28th, Yada Academy's Annual Special Lecture was held at Yada Culture and Art Center. Dr. Qiu Xiaohua, famous economist, analyzed China's Economy under Great Changes and attracted over 400 guests to the scene. Leaders of Yixing Mr. Shen Jian, Mr. Liu Yamin, Mr. Mei Zhonghua, Ms. Yu Junhui, and Mr. Chu Hongbiao attended the event.

This event was hosted by Yada Academy and co-organized by Yixing Entrepreneurs Association. Dr. Qiu Xiaohua, Former Chief Economist and Director of National Statistics Bureau, has published monographs such as The Road to China and New Thoughts on China's Economy, and been honored by World Bank as China's Mr. Figures in China's Macroeconomics and Comprehensive Statistics fields. That day, in the two-hour speech, Dr. Qiu Xiaohua started from three sections as "The world is facing hundred-year change", "China's modernization has entered a new era", and "China's economy: 2019 review and 2020 outlook". Through text, data and charts, Dr. Qiu Xiaohua analyzed the current situation and challenges of Chinese economy, and made predictions on the general trend of economic development in 2020. Throughout the speech, Dr. Qiu Xiaohua repeatedly mentioned that changes in the world have brought opportunities and challenges to China. Both are unprecedented. We should have a clear understanding, seize the opportunities and meet the challenges.

After the speech, Dr. Qiu Xiaohua also interacted with the news media and entrepreneurs on the scene to discuss how companies face challenges, how government finances face new situation, and how investors make choices in the coming New Year.

According to Mr. Yang Kui, Co-Founder of Yada Academy, last month, Yada Academy launched "Yada Academy Talks" series activity. The Mao Dun Literature Prize winner Mr. Ge Fei made the opening speech. Next stage will Yada Academy will invite more cultural masters at home and abroad to hold no less than 10 high-end cultural talks every year. Yada Academy Annual Special Lecture is the latest plan of Yada Academy. At the end of each year, an outstanding person will be invited to give an annual blockbuster speech.
