SAT: New Taxpayers Can Directly Issue Special VAT Tickets

In March, in response to the pain points of issuing VAT invoices in the business environment, China has opened a public service platform for electronic invoices (optimized version) in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Guangzhou. New taxpayers can receive UKeys issued by tax bureau for free, directly providing special VAT invoices and ordinary invoices instead of purchasing tax control equipment for VAT invoices from third parties. Beginning on April 1st, the scope of trials will be further expanded to address the hot issue of social concern, such as tax control equipment third-party charges. At the same time, the process of electronizing VAT invoices will be accelerated. SAT will strive for substantial progress by the end of the year.
