Yada Academy Lecture & Talk Won 2019 Yixing Excellent Reading Project (Brand) Award

On April 25th, Propaganda Department of Yixing Municipal Party Committee held the 8th Literary Yixing Reading Festival and Book Fair Opening Ceremony at Jiaoqiao Pedestrian Street.

The Ceremony awarded 2019 Yixing Literary Authorities, Excellent Reading Organizations, Excellent Reading Projects (Brand) and Excellent Reading Promoter, as well as announced 263 reading activities of 2020. Yada Academy Lecture & Talk won Excellent Reading Project (Brand) Award.

Yada Academy is a modern cultural academy advocating Jiangnan Culture. Yada Academy Lecture & Talk offers a series of cultural activities. So far, it has invited the writer Mr. Ge Fei, Mr. Ye Zhaoyan and Mr. Zhu Xuedong to give speeches under the theme of “Geographical Jiangnan and Cultural Jiangnan”, “The City Nanjing” and “Travel Thousands of Miles a Lifetime, Read Rolls of Books Describing Jiangnan” accordingly. At the end of 2019, it invited the well-known economist Mr. Qiu Xiaohua to make the annual special lecture named China’s Economy under the theme of World’s Thorough Changes – Glancing Back at 2019 and Looking into 2020. In 2020, Yada Academy will hold lectures and talks on a regular basis. Meanwhile, it will explore more forms of cultural exchange activities to advance the establishment of Literary Yixing.
