Beijing: Hospitals should Establish Security Inspection System from July 1st

Recently, the 22nd meeting of the 15th Beijing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee has voted to pass the Regulations on Beijing Hospital Security Order, which will take effect on July 1st, 2020. The Regulations propose that all hospital should establish safety inspection system. If someone refuses to accept the safety inspection, hospital has right to reject the entry. Police office should be set up in second-level and above hospitals, which will work jointly with the hospital security department. Hospitals will implement full coverage of video surveillance in key areas, and be equipped with one-key alarm device in key parts such as emergency rooms & security checkpoints. The high-risk patients who have been to the hospital for many times, such as unreasonable haunting, will be accompanied by security personnel. When medical personnel are threatened by violence, their treatment could be suspended.
