Global Tourism Industry Loses Trillions of Dollars, Chinese Market Starts to Recover

A study by McKinsey, the US management consulting firm, shows that the global tourism industry's export revenue losses have reached as high as 0.9 trillion to 1.2 trillion US dollars. Although the global tourism industry needs to wait until 2022 to return to pre-epidemic level, China, Indonesia and the United States will show positive trend. China's tourism industry has now recovered to half of its previous level, but tourism consumer confidence is still weak, and the industry's recovery is slower than expected.
