MHURD: Green Building Reaches 70% in New Constructions 2022

Recently, seven authorities jointly issued Green Building Construction Action Plan, involving Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, People’s Bank of China, National Government Offices Administration and China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission. According to the Plan, to 2022, the green building floor area in new buildings built in that year should reach 70% and the ratio of star-rating green building should continuously increase.
