5th Yada Academy Lecture & Talk Held Successfully

On the afternoon of September 24th, Yada Academy invited the chief editor of DUKU Mr. Zhang Lixian to make a lecture with the theme of “only a wise man puts in lots of efforts” in Yada Academy Lecture & Talk at Yada Bookstore. 

Mr. Zhang Lixian shared his feelings and experiences on book publishing for years. In his opinion, intelligence did not mean free-riding, but a proper working method and abundant mind tool based on certain talent. Pay more attention to open mind and think in a multiple-coordinate system formed under mixed standards. He suggested to have a clear realization of value difference from person to person, and put in more effort to it.

Regarding to the increasing emphasis on the publishing of popular science books in recent years, Mr. Zhang Lixian considered it came from his understanding on the current situation of publishing surplus humanity but insufficient science. According to him, science features counter intuition, breaking the self-indulgence to inherent knowledge. Inspiration came from the effect of comprehensive factors involving the progress in industry, science and society. Therefore, the wise man needs both general science and the logic for unceasing verification.

Mr. Zhang Lixian also had sincere exchanges with hundreds of audience on questions such as insistence or acting according to changing circumstance, and the relation of personal character and career development.
