Yada Academy Lecture & Talk Listed in Yixing Public Reading Promotion Demonstration Projects

On December 15th, Propaganda Department of Yixing Municipal Committee published the List of 2020 Yixing Public Reading Promotion Demonstration Projects and Outstanding Projects. Yada Academy Lecture & Talk has been listed in 2020 Yixing Public Reading Promotion Demonstration Projects.

The Public Reading Promotion Activity in Yixing is one important part for deepen public reading activities that aimed to create good environment for public reading and life-long learning, as well as enhance the construction level of Literary Yixing. The Demonstration and Outstanding Projects are voted jointly by Propaganda Department of Wuxi Municipal Committee and Yixing Municipal Committee, as well as local cultural celebrities through activity organization, effect and display.

Yada Academy is a key cultural supporting facility of Yixing Yada Yangxian Xishan Town. It advocates the cultural concept of virtue and liberality, the leading, abundant and time-honored Jiangnan Culture, as well as the life aesthetics. Yada Academy Lecture & Talk is a series cultural activity launched by Yada Academy. It embodies deep essence of culture in relaxed daily life talks.

So far, Yada Academy has successfully held 9 Lectures & Talks, including two annual special lectures. The lecturers include the winner of Mao Dun Literature Awards Mr. Ge Fei, economist Dr. Qiu Xiaohua, Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Literary Federation Mr. Zhang Jianhua, famous author Mr. Ye Zhaoyan, senior media professional Mr. Zhu Xuedong, Associate Professor of Jiangnan University Dr. Huang Xiaodan, Chief Editor of DUKU Mr. Zhang Lixian, well-known cultural scholar Ms. Yu Dan and well-known writer Mr. Mai Jia.

Topics of lectures and talks referred to Jiangnan culture, poetic aesthetics and life attitudes. Crowds of audience from Yixing and surrounding cities were attracted to attend. The lectures cited various authorities to explain historic Jiangnan culture and life aesthetics in vivid stories, which won wide acclaim and enabled Yada Academy Lecture & Talk to grow up into cultural highlight of Yada Yangxian Xishan and even Yixing.
