2021 Wuzhen Yada IHEP May Day Life Festival Held Warmly

During the May Day holiday of 2021, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park held the May Day Life Festival at Wuzhen Graceland warmly. Rich folk and recreational activities made the holiday relaxed and joyful.

In the Joy Fair of the Life Festival, crowds of little residents were attracted by varied kinds of games, such as netting goldfish, Angry Birds and Crazy Fun Catcher, that also reminded the childhood of the elderly residents. There were many food booths to sell featured snacks, like Chinese flowering crab-apple-shape cakes, sugar drawings and ice cream, which added more flavor to the Festival. In this year, the Fair set a special place for little residents. They set up booths for creative items or talent show, which injected new energy into the Festival and displayed the viability of the new generation.

The Festival offered varied kinds of handwork experience programs, including making aromatherapy candles, flower arrangement, DIY mosaic vase, ceramics pictures, ceramic art and making leather items and metal-opening bags. The joy of creating item with your own hands was not only from the good time spent with families, but also the feeling of life aesthetics through practice.

Graceland Kidult Club spontaneously organized a music talent show jointly with other clubs, including Music Element, Singing Enthusiasts, Sound of Grace, Happy Gas Volleyball, Dance, Social Dance and Square Dance. They let life shine by singing and dancing.

Good life cannot be divorced from joint efforts of Graceland resident and staff. To organize a successful May Day Life Festival, Graceland team and volunteer team carefully made the preparation, ensured each phase to be implemented in time and each detail well-arranged, and brought a happy vacation to the residents.

Wuzhen Yada IHEP is the first compound aged-care park invested and constructed by Yada. After years of operation, the Park has held several classic grand activities, such as Spring Festival Fair, Double-Ninth Festival Longevity Party and May Day Life Festival. These activities become the life highlight of the residents and display their wonderful life that they could study, enjoy and accomplish even in their old age.
