Gaochun Graceland Held Children’s Day Activity Themed Environmental Protection

On June 1st, the international Children’s Day, Gaochun Graceland held a special activity themed “Saving the Marine Environment” for little residents, which aimed to bring the children with environmental consciousness.

Surrounding the topic of “how to reduce the marine pollution”, the event contained several interactive sessions. In the marine protection class, the teacher introduced about the ocean, and through the game of “saving the marine pollution”, spread knowledge about garbage sorting, in order to set up children’s sense of duty for ocean protection.

In the part of recycling, little residents innovatively repurposed necessities of daily life, bringing new life from the wastes.

In addition, the participants also “saved” used clothes by themselves. They transformed old clothes into garbage bags, plastic ropes and package bags. They performed on the stage with these renovated clothes a wonderful green fashion show.

Gaochun Graceland advocates sustainable lifestyle and the goal of Plastic-Free Community, which was widely recognized and supported by the residents. This Activity offered a chance for little residents to understand the significance of recycling. It planted the green and environmental concept into the mind of children, which lays a good foundation of community culture for a meaningful better life at Gaochun Graceland.
