Yixing Yada: Exert Itself to Integrate "Agriculture and Tourism"

In June 2019, Jiangsu Yada Agriculture Development Company was established at Hufu Town, Yangxian Ecotourism Zone, Yixing. The registered capital is 30 million yuan with the total planned investment 100 million yuan for the planned land use of 2000 mu. At the beginning, the company set up the corporate philosophy of "openness, sharing, ecology and health", following the principle of "planning at high standing point, design with high standard, construction to high quality and running efficiently". It will be constructed into a complex integrating green & organic plantation, featured agricultural products production & sale, agricultural tourism and agricultural tech hatching, with the mission of creating a national-level comprehensive farm in the field of three-industry integration development.

1/ Devleop the Integration of Agriculture and Tourism with the Changing Time

In virtue of the fast development of National-level Yangxian Ecotourism Zone and advantages of Yada Yangxian Xishan in tourism and wellness resources, Jiangsu Yada Agriculture Development company insists the development concept of openness & sharing and ecology and health to complete the mission of rooting in Yixing and development for residents. It introduces leading smart equipment and talents in agricultural technology to enhance the infrastructure and exerts itself to complete the integration of "agriculture + tourism".

In the past two years, with the development of better leisure tourism and wellness industry of the Ecotourism Zone, Yada Agriculture set up its park to plant organic agricultural products, mainly including Yixing lily called ginseng of Taihu Lake, featured cherry tomato and rape flowers. It also held many agricultural tours like tomato collection festival and lily harvest festival. It sets up a store that is very popular online at Town Center of Yangxian Xishan to sell a series of deep processed Yixing lily. It has constructed a positive framework for three-industrial integration development. 

In this August, Yixing Lily of Yada Agriculture was awarded the national organic product certificate. The Yixing Lily Ecological Planting Standardization Pilot Sit at Yada Agriculture undertakes the heavy duty to explore the industrialization of local featured agricultural products and geographical indication products. Today, alongside the development of internet, Yada lily has been sold to the national wide, winning good praise of consumers. It also becomes a new name card of southern Yixing mountain area, attracting groups of tourists.

2/Make Use of Advantages to Extend the Road of Rural Revitalization

Since this year, Yada Agriculture insisted to drive the country development based on enterprises, promote corporate development in the country, and accelerate the resource integration and complement each other's advantages. It invests capital, technology, talents and market advantages to the resource advantages in the country, sets up a linking framework for multi-party benefits and make its efforts to revitalize the country. Since the establishment of the company at Fuxi Country in 2019, more than 1000 mu of lands, forests and water pools have come alive again. In this year, Yixing Lily  Ecological Planting Standardization Pilot Site had a harvest again, extending the lily industry to new fileds covering fresh lily sale, deep processing and lily theme cultural tourism.

In this year, Yada Agriculture made a breakthrough. It participated in Jiangsu-Shaanxi Cooperation for rural revitalization. Lily seedballs cultivated by Yada Agriculture have been planted on the loess plateau. After more than a half years' effort, Yixing lily has got periodic achievement in Longxi, accumulating precious experience for deepening rural revitalization of the company.

3/Enhance Rural Hematopoiesis Function by Projects

"Leading rather than replacing. Yada Agriculture is willing to do what the farmers are not able to do". Yada does not compete with the traditional farmers by developing modern and efficient agriculture. In this year, it increased the investment of capital, technology and management, helped farmers to receive professional agricultural technology training and recruiting the local employees. 

For the goal, it developed three-step plan. The first step is to carry out wide cooperation with agricultural science research institutes in Jiangsu, introducing leading concepts, technology and management modes as well as many experts to the company, accelerating the implementation of leading agricultural technology, and setting up Yixing Lily organic standardization system. The second step is to lead farms to join in the industrialization and standardization plantation process by exporting technology and management, gradually making the quality of Yixing lily stable, and establishing a sound foundation for extending market. The third step is to speed up the commercialization and branding by standardized plantation and driving traditional Longxi farmers to become "industrial worker". It does not only solve the labor problem, but also offer development benefits to local farmers. Till not, Yada Agricultural has employed and transformed more than 30 farmers. Based on the fair and reasonable allocation mechanism, it has improved the corporate business and realized  mutual benefits of country and farmers.

The goal of rural revitalization is to realize the modernization of countryside. The key of rural revitalization is to make a prosperous industry.
