China Made 251 Million Domestic Trips During 2022 Spring Festival Holiday

According to the Data Center of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, during the 7-day Spring Festival holiday in 2022, 251 million domestic tourists travelled across the country, and domestic tourism revenue reached 289.198 billion yuan. The overall holiday market is safe, stable and orderly. During the Spring Festival holiday, visiting relatives & friends, urban leisure, rural vacation, and ice & snow leisure have become the mainstream. Data shows that during the holiday, the proportion of intra-provincial travel and trans-provincial travel were 78.3% and 21.7% respectively. Short-distance leisure activities such as self-driving tour, parent-child tour, theme park tour, and ice & snow tour have increased significantly. Beijing country house booking was very hot, with a year-on-year increase of 1.4 times.
