Best greetings for the Lantern Festival

On the fifteenth day of lunar first month, Wuzhen Graceland families gathered together to make sweet dumplings and lanterns, and celebrate the birthday. In playful games, they sent best wishes to each other and spend a warm and joyful Lantern Festival.

Glue buddings made by themselves contained happiness and reunion. Joy is overflowing. Children learned to make glue buddings with the help of the elderly.  Both neighborhood and family relationship had been enfolded into the sweet dumplings with sweet fillings. Hot and sweet dumplings got best affirmantion.

With greetings, God Fortune delivered the lucky sweet dumplings to all families. During this Festival, Graceland restaruant launched self-made salted meat, handmade sweet dumplings with turnip strip fillings. Graceland Supermarket stored enough glue buddings with sweet or salt fillings in advance.

Beside making and enjoying glue buddings, families guessed lantern riddles, made lanterns and wrote wishes and choose festival gifts for their family members. Companion and joy were the best present for festivals.

The elderly of Pine Care (Wuzhen) Elderly Service Center also spent a joyful Lantern Festival. They guessed lantern riddles, pasted paper tigers, pushing bottles for red bags and made lanterns.

This festival was full of joy. Those ancient festial customs appeared in the activity, such as the pitch-pot that threw an arrow for happines and reunion.

In the happy time, talented Graceland residents gave wonderful performances. Music delivered best wishes of Lantern Festival. With the flowing red silk, they danced in confident steps and delivered festival greeting to everyone.

Today was also the day to celebrate the birthday of Graceland residents who were born in January. They made a wish in happy songs and tasted the glue buddings made by neighbors.

Ballons were as colorful as the wishes of Graceland residents. They flied those ballons and may every day happy and reunited.
