01 / Dragon Boat Festival with Folk Custom Experience

Dotting cinnabar is the most popular activity on Dragon Boat Festival for Graceland children. The cinnabar on the forehead implies good health and safety.

As a proverb, plant willow trees on Pure Brightness and hang wormwood. Hanging wormwood implies safety and health, an indispensable part of Dragon Boat Festival rite. On the Day, residents got wormwood, gaining best wishes from neighborhood.

On the Day, residents wrote Buddhist script for blessing. When the brush touches the paper, you become calm that is good for your mind and body. It brings you an immersive physical tour.

Over one thousand years ago, the poet Mr. Bai Juyi described a beauty in flowing white, leaving the world an infinite imagination. On the Festival, family members and friends worn Han Chinese Clothing to travel in Graceland like a chrono cross garden tour.

During the Festival, fishing zongzi has been one of the most popular game among residents. Participants focused on the fishing pole very carefully, winning burst of applause on the site.

Adults and children sat on the Dragon Boat on the ground. With the drums, it was like a Dragon Boat Competition, making the festival atmosphere stronger.

02 / Elegant Aesthetics Craftsmanship Sending Wishes

Families sat together to make cool ice zongzi with clear wrapper, bringing tendy food to the Festival.

We made a dragon head together for a happy parent and child time. By the game, children learned and felt the significance of dragon in traditional Chinese culture.

It is an indispensable thing to make traditional crafts on a traditional day. The canvas bags made by relatives were pure but elegant, with the original beauty of nature.

03 / Workout Together for More Vigor

In the morning, residents did exercise together with the music as usual. With fresh air, everyone kept fit.

In such a leisure holiday, neighbors dance with the soft summer breeze. They also played instruments and sang songs. Based on the same hobbies, neighbors have been good friends.

On the Festival, Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Service Center organized a gathering with theme of “Warm Dragon Boat Festival, Recollect Past Times”. The elderly enjoyed festival atmosphere and had joyful experience through Dragon Boat Festival fair and interesting games.

02 / Joyful Midsummer Healthy Yada

Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital held “Joyful Midsummer, Healthy Yada” theme activity. It improved the health knowledge of the inpatients and spent a joyful Dragon Boat Festival. All participants experienced the joy of craftsmanship, learning the charm of traditional Chinese culture and got more healthcare related knowledge.

THREE | Seasonal Flavor and Fortune Wish

It is the festival custom that eating five kinds of yellow food on Dragon Boat Festival. The five food have the wish of safety, health and success. Graceland Restaurant and Egret Restaurant offered Five-yellow set specially. Residents could enjoy delicacies with family members.
