Wuzhen Graceland Held 2022 Spring Semester Talent Show to Salute July 1st

On June 30th 2022, for celebrating the 101st anniversary of the founding of Chinese Communist Party, the residential zone of Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park, Wuzhen Graceland held “Celebrating July 1st and 2022 Spring Semester Talent Show” to salute the glorious years of CPC and the wonderful life in Graceland.

The activity was held in the Reception Hall of Wuzhen Graceland, divided into five parts, namely vigorous fitness, joyful singing & dancing, instrument playing, poem recitation and calligraphy & painting exhibition. Teachers and students from different featured classes of the University for the Aged in Wuzhen Park, including Tai Chi class, basic dance class, advanced dance class, music show class, vocal class, Qin class, regular script calligraphy class and traditional Chinese painting class, as well as children from Graceland Noah Boat Kindergarten brought wonderful performance, giving a comprehensive show of the academy’s teacher and student presence, Graceland resident spirit as well as their love and praise to the Party and the Country.

The whole show had rich content of culture and sports. It began with the fluent 42-form Tai Chi and was pushed to new highs by team dance, music show, chorus, Peking Opera and Qin playing. To celebrate the birthday of CPC, class president representatives of the University and the kindergarten children recited poem to express their respects to motherland.

Calligraphy & painting works of students were also displayed on the site of the activity. Elegant florals and plants as well as writings full of pride and enthusiasm showed the natural beauty of livable environment and vigorous daily life.

The activity came to a successful conclusion in the chorus of Ode to the Motherland. All performers and audience sang the song together, extoling the good life and blessing the motherland.

The University for the Aged was established and came into service as the first bunch facilities of Wuzhen Park. It is the symbolic supporting facility representing Yada put the public welfare function first. Since the opening in October 2014, in nearly 8 years, the University has offered decades of courses in the fields of calligraphy & painting, wellness & fitness, culture & art, instrument and skills. It has also organized various kinds of community festival events. Some of them have become classic cultural projects of Wuzhen Park. It helps residents to realize a later life of Learning, Joyful and Productive in their old age, and welcome a more charming silver-hair life.
