Nanjing Gucheng Bay Launched 1st Anniversary Celebration with Original Intention for New Journey

On July 3rd 2022, Gucheng Bay Scenic Area of Nanjing Gaochun Health Leisure Tourism Park welcomed its 1st anniversary. Gucheng Bay launched series of anniversary celebration activities themed “Gratitude to Encounter, ‘Deer’ You”. It offered featured parent-child vacation experience full of rich content and fun, showing gratefulness to tourists and injecting vitality into Nanjing city.

Main part of the anniversary celebration was “Summer without Sunset · Vacation in Fantastic Trip” featured activity, offering a wonderful summer holiday memory for little residents and tourists. During the activity, there were leisure recreations in the Water Park, Ziluo Town and Yizi Water Street Gourmet in the daytime. In the evening, there were multiple themed summer carnival projects, including Lantern Lighting Pray, Evening Bamboo Raft Tour and Open-air Concert. Tourists, especially parent-child families, could enjoy vigorous water sports, hot camp experience, romantic outdoor concert and traditional cultural tourism performance. Junior and senior high school graduates of this year, CPC members and CYLC members were entitled to benefits on tickets and annual card accordingly.

On July 3rd 2021, Gucheng Bay of Gaochun Park was officially opened. During one-year operation, the Scenic Area insists the core of “culture, ecology and parent-child” and keeps improving the product pattern. It has become one of the most favorite parent-child travel destinations. To promote the recovery of tourism market in the context of epidemic, Gucheng Bay not only launched a lot of benefits for the public, but also regenerated the tourism market by innovating performance forms. It has held wonderful featured activities successively on May Day, Middle-autumn Day, National Day and other holidays & festivals. In June 2022, the first culture & sports comprehensive center of the Scenic Area – Ziluo Town was officially opened, further improving the development orientation of Gucheng Bay as a comprehensive parent-child vacation destination integrating “Culture, Tourism and Commerce”. In April 2022, Gucheng Bay was selected as “2021 China Tourism Association ‘China Service’ · Tourism Product Innovation Case”, winning industrial recognition own to service ability and quality.

As the key culture & tourism zone of Gaochun Park, Gucheng Bay has always worked together closely with the residential zone Gaochun Graceland and shared resources for organizing themed community activities, such as Romanti 520, One-day Baby-sitting Camp, Wonderful Tree-Planting Day Trip and Campfire Party in the Name of Family, which helped to enhance the cultural soft power of Gaochun Graceland and create an exclusive spiritual garden for Gaochun Graceland residents.

In the future, Gucheng Bay of Gaochun Park will insist original intention, continue to explore industrial resources and management advantages, further expand openness and cooperation in the cultural tourism field, enhance innovation and integration of tourism products, as well as keep widening experience dimension of parent-child vacation. The Scenic Area is going to create more diversified amusement projects at multi-levels, meeting the demands of tourists on in-depth leisure vacation, generating the consumption potentiality of tourism in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, as well as promoting the high-quality development of cultural tourism in Nanjing and the surrounding regions.
