Yada Theater Opening Premiere Successfully Held

On July 24th, Yada Theater Opening Premiere “Steinway Midsummer Returnee Chamber Music Concert” was successfully held at Yada Yangxian Xishan. Returnee Chamber Music members namely the young pianist Mr. Yuan Chang residing in Europe, the young cellist Mr. Jiang Junhao residing in Russia and the violinist Mr. Zhao Yusong residing in America, provided a fantastic audio-visual feast to live audience.

The Returnee Chamber Orchestra is jointly established by Steinway Jiangsu & Anhui and the young pianist Mr. Yuan Chang residing in Europe, bringing excellent young returnee players of different kinds of instruments together. All members are graduated from well-known music colleges in the world. It is a professional chamber orchestra integrating performance and creation. The performers of this Concert all have profound theoretical basis and high performance level, having won a number of international awards and given many performances at home and abroad.

The Concert began with Ave Maria, beautiful and pleasing, sincere and pure. Beautiful lighting and soothing tunes brought the live show into a peaceful world.

At the Concert, the Orchestra played classical music by famous artists first, including the representative of the Baroque period Bach’s Aria Sul G, the representative of the classical period Haydn’s Trio in D Major and the representative of romanticism Rachmaninoff’s Trio in G Minor Chanson Triste. The undulating and smooth melody gave the audience a close appreciation of the artistic charm of classical music.

In the second half, the Orchestra performed familiar film music, including Summer, Shostakovich Waltz No. 2, The Legend of 1900, selections of Butterfly Lovers,  Game of Thrones, Castle in the Sky, Cinema Paradiso, Scent of A Woman, Schindler’s List and etc. In the harmonious symphony, classic pictures emerged before the audience’s eyes. All people were immersive in the melodic piano sound, long violin sound and deep cello sound.

With the thunderous applause, the Orchestra presented several classic music as encores, including Return to the South, Jasmine Flowers as well as Me and My Country, leading the scene atmosphere to a climax again.

For more people to enjoy refined art and feel the charm of chamber music, the Concert held two performances in the afternoon and in the evening respectively. Co-founder of Yada Academy Mr. Yang Kui as well as veteran enthusiast of classical music and well-known writer Mr. Ge Fei hosted the two performances respectively. According to Mr. Ge Fei, music could add the joy of life, help to ease loneliness and sorrow, and bring incomparable beauty. He expected all audience could have a wonderful music journey at Yada Theater.

Yada Theater is one of the key culture supporting facilities at Yangxian Xishan. It covers about 15000㎡ with a total floor area of 5500㎡. Mr. Lu Hao, one of famous architects in China and President & Senior Partner of goa, dominated the design. The Theater design won the Jury Winner Prize of 2021 Architizer A+Awards. A+Awards, one of the world's largest architectural awards programs, is committed to promote and reward the most excellent architecture and product designs.

Yada Theater lies in tea gardens and bamboo forests. Different from many urban performance buildings, it is an authentic “Theater in Nature”. The design derives from the elegant collection of literati in Song Dynasty to create a ceremonial and symbolic music art palace.

Yada Theater is the first professional theater in Yangxian National Ecotourism Resort. It is equipped with high standard sound system and lighting equipment, allowing the transform from open stage to frame stage as well as functional requirements in the amplifying modes of natural sound and electric acoustic. Facilitated with professional Steinway piano, it could meet various demands on high level performance, such as concerts and drama shows.

The opening of Yada Theater not only enriches the cultural facilities of Yada Yangxian Xishan, meet the needs of the Town residents and tourists on refined art, but also promotes the high-quality development of Yangxian National Ecotourism Resort and enhances the internationalization of the Resort’s tourism.
