5th Anniversary of Yada Yixing Projects Signing: From Wildness to Sojourn Fairyland

August 10th 2022 was the fifth anniversary of the signing of Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park (Yada Yangxian Xishan) and Yixing International Tourism Zone (Yaohu Town). In the past five years, Yada gradually turned the wild countryside into a land of idyllic beauty for wellness and sojourn in the southern mountain area of Yixing.

On August 10th 2017, Yada officially signed two projects with Yixing government, namely Yada Yangxian Xishan and Yaohu Town. For the total investment reached 21 billion yuan, they became the projects with largest investment in Yixing’s throughout history.

One project, Yada Yangxian Xishan, lies in Hufu Twon, Yixing City. It has a total investment of 8 billion yuan and total planning land of more than 6000 mu.

In the early time of construction, the surrounding environment of the Project was wild with few inhabitants and transportation access. Yada began the pioneering journey with the determination of “Virtue for Future”.

Since settling in Yixing, Yada followed the principle of Public Welfare First to inject vitality to local tourism development. In January 2018, Lakeside Park, firstly planned and constructed by Yada Yangxian Xishan, was completed and open to the public for free. On September 15th 2019, Yada Culture & Art Center made its first appearance by the first personal calligraphy and painting exhibition of Chinese arts and crafts master Mr. Xu Xiutang. In that November, Yada Academy held the first public welfare lecture and talk. In five years time, it invited cultural celebrities from different fields to organize more than 10 lectures and talks, honored as Yixing Public Welfare Reading Brand Project for successive years. On August 10th 2020, Dongpo Pavilion officially opened. It is one more public welfare project invested and constructed by Yada after Lakeside Park. In that September, Yangxian Xishan Town Center made its first appearance. The 1000-meter long travel line creates a street full of Jiangnan culture,  prosperous inside and naturally beautiful outside. As the tourist center of Yangxian Ecotourism Resort, it also links the surrounding scenery zones. In October 2021, the Town Center of Yangxian Xishan was listed in the first Jiangsu Provincial Level Tourism Leisure Streets. On July 24th 2022, after two years’ construction, Yada Theater held the first performance. In the same year, Yada Theater was honored the Jury Winner of Architizer A+Awards, one of the world’s most influential architectural awards.

After the first project Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park, Yada keeps exploring the compound aged-care park mode in Yixing. Focusing on wellness and aged-care, Yada creates elderly-oriented residential products and supporting facilities, offering a reference for the aged-care industry development in China. Since the agreement signing, the construction of residential zone and supporting facilities at Yada Yangxian Xishan has been in full swing. On August 30th 2020, the first phase was officially delivered. Lake, Mountain and Bamboo communities welcomed their first residents. In 2021, Purity of Mind, Cloud, Streams and Wintersweet were delivered in succession. So far, Yada Yangxian Xishan has delivered 1250 elderly-oriented residences. On July 19th 2021, Yada Panasonic Community was officially released to the public. The Community fully introduces Panasonic’s leading healthcare and aged-care concept, related technology and services, to create a brand-new wellness & aged-care model, as well as offer residents comfortable and secure life with the mission of “Plus 10 Years to Healthy Life”.

While building living space, Yada Yangxian Xishan also provides convenient life supporting facilities and poetic spirit & culture space. Town Canteen came into service before the delivery of Phase I, meeting different demands of residents on food. As the cultural drawing room of Yangxian Xishan, Yada Academy has offered colorful spiritual and cultural life for residents through organizing courses, activities and club parties in the past five years, setting up the community atmosphere of mutual help, support and care. It makes Yangxian Xishan into an ideal home where the heart belongs. In August 2021, Yada Fitness Center came into operation. In that March, the modern comprehensive hospital Yada Hospital began construction and is expected to enter trail operation stage by the end of 2022.

The other Yada Project Yaohu Town lies in Zhangzhu Town of Yixing City with a total investment of 13 billion yuan. Focusing on Yixing featured cultural elements such as bamboo, tea, mountain, water and ceramics, it inherits excellent natural & ecological resources and historic & humanity background, as well as combines surrounding supporting facilities to create a leisure travel destination that offers high-class and diversified ecological travel experience and services in full time.

On August 7th 2018, the first large-scale individual building at Yaohu Town – the Tourists Center began construction, which implied the full launch of the Project. Afternoon four-year work, the construction area has reached 760000 m2 and the floor area completed reached 50000 m2. The core area of Three Centers and Three Hotels has finished the civil construction and began decoration. Yaohu Town is estimated to start soft opening in 2023, welcoming tourists home and abroad with perfect appearance.

In the past five years, Yada Yixing projects has developed from nothing, containing the persistence to public welfare, pursuit to outstanding quality and attention to social responsibilities. After the signing, Yixing Yada Education Fund was set up. For repaying hometown, Chairman of Yada Mr. Jiang Jianning donated 5 million yuan to Yangxian Primary School for local education. The Lakeside Park and Dongpo Pavilion with 120 million yuan investment were donated to local government for free. In addition, both Yada Fitness Center and Yada Theater that have come into operation were designed by well-known designers. These classic buildings are hailed as cultural heritage for the future.  The Town Center and the annual Mid-autumn Day Lantern Festival open to the public for free, enriching local residents’ cultural life and driving the night economy development of the Resort. Yada gives priority to local demands in employing and offers jobs to surrounding residents. Since 2019, the tax contribution of Yada projects continuously increased from 2.028 billion yuan, 2.1225 billion yuan to 25733 billion yuan accordingly, and was honored Yixing Advanced Group as tax contribution exceeded 2000 million yuan in consecutive three years.

In more than 1800 days and nights of past five years, Yada has composed an attractive movement on the oxygen-rich beautiful landscape of Yangxian. Five-year time is just a beginning. Standing at a new starting point, Yada is welcoming a new journey as New Choice for Sojourn. The grand blueprint of wonderful landscape is gradually getting better. In the future, Yada will lead the local to become the domestically first-class and internationally famous sojourn destination, as well as explore a peaceful and vast land for leisure travel and wellness living.
