Yixing International Tourism Zone Construction Leading Group Conference Held

On September 5th, Yixing International Tourism Zone (Mingling Yaohu Town) Project Construction Leading Group Conference was held at Yixing Yangxian Ecotourism Resort. The Conference summarized the preliminary work and arranged the construction duty in next phase. Secretary of Yixing Municipal Party Committee Mr. Feng Xiaochun, Mayor Mr. Hu Xiaojian and other leaders as well as Chairman of Yada Mr. Jiang Jianning, Chief Planner of the Project Mr. Chen Xianghong, General Manager of Mingling Yaohu Town Tourism Company Mr. Zhu Zhenghua and other project management members attended the meeting.  

Municipal leaders visited Mingling Yaohu Town construction progress on site, and held the Conference to hear related reports. Till now, the Project’s “Three Centers and Three Hotels”, namely staff center, tourists center, conference center, Yaohu Resort, Shayao Hotel and Tea Garden Hotel have completed the civil construction work and began decoration. The main structure of buildings, outdoor pavement, roads and terraced landscape of Longyao landscape architectural complex along the Tourists Center’s east lake have been finished. The main body construction of Town Center has been completed. Now the follow-up water system and landscape arrangement are moving forward.

At the Conference, responsible person from related municipal sectors, departments and units had a profound discussion on issues such as supporting facilities construction with the Project’s management team. They determined solutions with time limit during the discussion as well as expressed that they would offer coordination with all strength and help to solve problems.

The Secretary Mr. Feng Xiaochun gave affirmation to related sectors, departments and units on the preliminary work. He pointed out that, all sides should fully understand Mingling Yaohu Town’s position in revitalizing Yixing tourism, improving the city’s reputation, enhancing high-quality development of the Resort as well as driving local farmers’ revenue increase and wealth acquirement as one leading and critical project. He asked all sides to further improve awareness and offer the Project efficient service. In addition, he hoped that the government and enterprise would push the Project’s construction forward with one heart to jointly promote the upgrading of southern Yixing mountain area and all-for-one tourism.

Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning said, both the government and Yada had made great effort for the construction of Mingling Yaohu Town in the past. In the future, both sides should unceasingly work together to push forward the Project according to timetable for the planned soft opening in the next half of 2023.

Mingling Yaohu Town lies in Yixing Yangxian Ecotourism Resort. With a total investment of 13 billion yuan, it mainly contains One Lake, One Axis, One Belt and Seven Zones, devoting to build a cultural tourism town integrating natural ecology and Yixing local culture. Upon completion, it will become a leading, well-known and internationally oriented leisure tourism destination in Jiangsu Province and the Yangtze River Delta.
