Yada Parks Held Mid-Autumn Festival Theme Cultural Activities

From September 9th to 12th, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park, Gaochun Health Leisure Tourism Park, Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park held theme cultural activities respectively, offering their residents and tourists celebrations integrating traditional folk custom and trendy experience for a warm Mid-autumn Festival with full moon and family reunion.

On the afternoon of the 9th, Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital as the health sector of Wuzhen Park held a Party with the theme of “Warm Mid-autumn Day for Physicians and Patients”. Accompanied by the medical staff, inpatients and their relatives guessed lantern riddles, learned cervical spondylosis prevention knowledge and made moon cakes, spending a warm and joyful festival. In the evening, Yada Wuzhen Elderly Service Center organized a fun Mid-autumn Festival evening party.  The Center’s staff and the elderly showed their talents and brought a wonderful performance, including Djembe, classic poem recitation, chorus and dance. They spent a reunited and happy festival time together.

In the evening of the 9th, residents of Wuzhen Graceland, the residential sector of Wuzhen Park, gathered at the Plaza to enjoy full moon, taste moon cake, watch performance and chat daily life, enjoying a joyful festival. The Party of Enjoying Full Moon began with the dance Goddess Chang’e Fly to the Moon. Graceland residents made rich performances, including instrument playing, chorus, dance, poem recitation and Shaoxing Opera.  The Folk Custom Fair, which opened in the same evening, attracting a lot of residents and tourists. Varied experiencing activities, such as appreciating flower lanterns, guessing lantern riddles and placing river lanterns, added more cultural charm to the festival.

On the 10th, Gucheng Bay Scenic Area of Gaochun Park officially began the “Garden Party to the Moon”. With four themes, namely Mid-autumn Fair, trendy outdoors, golden autumn night tour and cultural & creative experience, the Activity created diversified one-stop travel experience full of traditional festival features. In particular, for the theme of Mid-autumn Festival, Gucheng Bay launched “Enjoy the Moon on the Chunqiu Pavilion” and “Mid-autumn Trendy Fair”, winning wide acclaim from tourist, becoming an unforgettable memory on the Mid-autumn Day. On the 10th and 11th, Gaochun Graceland, the residential sector of Gaochun Park, organized residents to make flower lanterns and moon cakes, experience traditional festival culture and enjoy the festival charm.

On the 10th, 3rd Yangxian Xishan Golden Autumn Lantern Festival 2022 made a splendid opening. The 24-group lanterns, designed by team from Zigong, Sichuan province, and originated from classic ancient poems, decorating a poetic landscape in Xishan with their vivid shapes. The Event would last to the 10th October. During the Event, there was a Jiangnan Creation Fair from September 10th to 12th. The Fair invited young craft inheritors and local intangible culture heritage inheritors to show the beauty of oriental creations. In the meantime, residents and tourists also had chances to enjoy dance, Han Chinese Clothing cruise, music spring & laser show, Chinese orchestra performance and interactive games, getting multiple audio-visual tour experiences.

On the 10th, the night of Mid-autumn Day, residents of Yada Yangxian Xishan spontaneously organized a Mid-autumn Chinese Poetry Conference on the view deck of Town Center. Mr. Kong Jie, host of BTV and Ms. Ma Xiao, producer director of CCTV chaired the Conference as community resident. All participants toasted to the moon, recited poems, enjoyed lanterns & the moon and chatted daily life, spending a beautiful festival night together.

Through the years, Mid-autumn Festival series activity was one of the classic community events of Yada Parks. Depending on resources in culture, tourism and commerce areas, Yada Parks create featured events to meet residents’ demands on spirit.
