Yada Parks Held Double Ninth Activities to Celebrate the Festival

On October 4th, the Double Ninth Festival, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park, Gaochun Health Leisure Tourism Park and Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park held colorful & warm culture and public welfare themed activities respectively to celebrate the festival and enjoy the neighborhood.

Wuzhen Graceland, the residential zone of Wuzhen Park, held Double Ninth Gathering making up of the gala and public welfare activity themed respecting and helping the elderly. At the gala, residents danced with red silk and sang about good life, spending happy time together. The public welfare activity offered varied kinds of healthcare guidance and convenient one-stop services to meet residents’ demands on blood pressure measure, optometry, clothes mending, glasses cleaning, smartphone usage direction and etc. Graceland volunteer team took photos for golden and silver wedding couples of the Park as well as sent Double Ninth cake and peach-shaped birthday cake representing health and longevity of the elderly over 80 years old door-to-door, delivering festival wishes and happiness to all the aged at the Park.

Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Service Center as the healthcare zone of Wuzhen Park held “Paint Happiness and Celebrate Birthday on Double Ninth Day” themed activity for the elderly. During the activity, the aged had a tea party, painted creative canvas bags, and celebrated birthday for neighbors who were born in October, spending a warm time together.

Gaochun Graceland, the residential zone of Gaochun Park, organized “Double Ninth Graceland Free Clinic” activity for residents of the Park. Graceland invited professional physicians to offer medical service and healthcare consultancy. The site also provided blood pressure, blood glucose measurement and other health indicators consultation as well as convenient life services such as free haircut, winning wide praise of the residents.

Yixing Park held “Double Ninth Landscape Year After Year and Good Neighborhood Forever” literati gathering at the Life Bookstore of Yada Academy. The elderly at Xishan gathered together and had a party. They appreciated chrysanthemum, tasted cornel, painted moon-shaped fans and enjoyed the reunion. During the activity, staff from Yada Academy and Yada Greentown Property Management brought wonderful performance for the elderly including poem recitation and dance, sending out festival wishes. Members of Sunshine Club and the Park’s residents made a vivid performance including waist drum dance and EWI playing, pushing the atmosphere to a new high.

Double Ninth Festival is a traditional Chinese festival to express respect to the elderly, and also one of classic festival events of Yada Parks.
