“Sound of Autumn” Muse Stage Candlelight Concert Successfully Held at Yada Theater

On October 23rd, “Sound of Autumn” Muse Stage Candlelight Concert was successfully held at Yada Theater of Yada Yangxian Xishan. Muse Stage Orchestra brought audience an immersive music journey with romance and aesthetics by touching classic melody under a beautiful performance scene.

Muse Stage members include the oboe player Dr. Huang Zheng, chief trumpet player of Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Mr. Wu Bin, the young pianist Ms. Gina Zhang residing in French, the cellist of Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Ms. Qing Xing and young Shenzhen violinist Ms. Hu Dan. All members had overseas study experience as well as profound performance basis and mature stage experience.

During the first half of the performance, the Orchestra played classic music of films, including Phantom of the Opera, the Legend of 1900, Gone with The Bullet, La La Land, Kikujiro no Natsu (literally Kikujiro’s Summer), La mome and etc. These familiar music led audience to review the classic pictures of the movie and immerse themselves in the moving melody.

The second half performance began with the oboe playing City of Sky played by the art director of the Orchestra Mr. Huang Zheng. Familiar melody with touching performance embedded in the heart of audience. Then they played film interlude songs of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, La La Land, The Ivory Tower and The Godfather as well as Ludovico Einaudi’s Experience. On the site, an introduction of the music was made before playing accordingly, helping audience to better understand and enjoy the music.

During the encore, the Orchestra played the passionate Mojito, bringing the art charm of different music to the audience.

To better serve the demands of the Park’s residents and travelers, the Concert held two sessions, in the afternoon and in the evening respectively. The feeling of vision and audio differed at different time. The evening session in particular was full of romantic atmosphere for dim light, flicking candle and the background of outdoor pool and music fountain.

As one of the important cultural facilities of Yada Yangxian Xishan, Yada Theater is designed by President and senior partner of GOA Mr. Lu Hao and honored as the Jury Winner of 2021 Architizer A+Awards. Since operation, it has held Midsummer Returnee Chamber Music Concert and Wuxi Opera RETURN HOME and organized “Cultural Tour” Development Forum.
