New Regulations on “Insurance + Aged-care Community” Pattern

On January 4th, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission issued the Notice on Related Matters of Connection of Insurance Company’s Products Selling to Aged-care Community Service (Exposure Draft) to normalize the pattern of “insurance + aged-care community” pattern. The Draft defines the threshold to operate “insurance + aged-care community” business and specifies six conditions that insurance companies qualifies the business for the first time.
