Yada Parks Held Lantern Festival Themed Culture Activities

On February 5th 2023, the Lantern Festival of Gui Mao Rabbit Year, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park, Gaochun Health Leisure Tourism Park and Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park respectively held festival theme folk culture activities. Yada residents gathered and spent the festival time together joyfully.

Wuzhen Graceland, the residential zone of Wuzhen Park, organized a lively Lantern Festival Garden Party. The Party integrated folk customs, recreation, experience and interaction, spreading joy all over the Park. Yada residents with their relatives and friends guessed lantern riddles, smashed golden eggs, cooking sweet dumplings, making handworks and hanging out to the fair, immersed in the harmonious festival atmosphere. When the full moon rose up at nightfall, river lantern praying activity warmly began at Anya Garden Community. River lanterns with New Year’s expectation flew with river water slowly, which expressed New Year’s hope and delivered good wishes in Chinese featured romantic manner.

Gaochun Graceland, the residential zone of Gaochun Park, held a joyful “Lantern Festival Party”. This activity featured Chinese traditional folk customs, leading residents to experience ancient programs of Lantern Festival such as guessing lantern riddles, making sweet dumplings and painting colorful lanterns. Graceland neighborhood gathered together for the reunion festival. Gucheng Bay Scenic Area, the culture & tourism zone of Gaochun Park, offered travelers a fantastic festival experience by Lantern Festival Garden Tour activities. Flower lanterns were lightened on at Guan Xi Pavilion and lantern riddle guessing game brought interactive joy. At the sweet dumpling making part, the stuffing contained both delicacy and wish, representing happiness and reunion. The classic Lighting and Pray activity introduced travelers to experience traditional folk aesthetics and receive New Year’s good luck.

Yada Academy of Yixing Park held “Poetic Lantern Festival and Joyful Reunion” literati gathering at Yada Life Bookstore. Xishan residents gathered to spend a literary, romantic, and pleasant festival. During the activity, teachers and students from Yada Academy’s jinghu class, traditional Chinese opera comprehensive class and qin class, as well as the Town’s residents made a wonderful performance covering musical instrument playing, opera singing, poem reciting and etc. Residents also shared their local folk customs on Lantern Festival and their colorful life at the Town. They experienced shaking rice glue balls, making sweet dumplings and producing beautiful lanterns. When the night fell, the residents made their festival wishes. Xishan Town was filled with strong festival atmosphere.

Gui Mao Rabbit Year celebration at three Yada Parks was successfully ended with the Lantern Festival themed culture activities. During this Spring Festival, based on local culture and three Park’s business type resources, Yada created festival theme activities integrating tradition and trend for residents and travelers, enriching the festival life as well as promoting the development of local cultural tourism and residential environment. In the future, Yada will continue to improve  the service quality, create harmonious living environment and build up a sustainable ideal homeland.
