The Medical Rehabilitation Consultants of YaDa International Offer Free Clinic to Xiao yiyi

On June 27th, Professor Hubert Hörterer and Professor Karl-Heinz Mauritz, the medical rehabilitation consultants of our company, went to Tongxiang No.3 People’s Hospital to visit Yiyi, the last survivor of the 7.23 Train Crash, and provided specific rehabilitation suggestion regarding her current conditions.


Yiyi, who survived the frightening accident after staying in the crashed train ruins for more than 20 hours, had attracted attention of people from all walks of society. Those who had heard the story of Yiyi paid close attention to every detail in her recovery, including how she had survived by a miracle, how to face the risk of amputation and how to manage to walk. Moved by the story, YaDa International’s two German experts intended to see her in person and offer medical proposals for Yiyi’s recovery. During their visit, Professor Hubert Hörterer and Professor Karl-Heinz Mauritz enquired about her physical conditions and the treatment for her. To their joy, they found her recovery was better than expected owing to the appropriate therapy. However, her rehabilitation training would last for a long period and during this, Yiyi could do some recovery training such as riding bicycle under doctors’ guidance. They believed that she would become better and better. The two experts said they would continue to follow up her future rehabilitation and try their best to help her to recover.


Professor Hubert Hörterer is a well-known expert in the field of orthopedics and sports medicine. He has provided with medical service for the 7 Olympic Games and the 12 World Champions as the dean of German medical team. Professor Karl- Heinz Mauritz, the present president of Berlin Hospital, is a famous expert in the field of neuron rehabilitation in Germany and had sufficient experiences in the field such as physical medicine, rehabilitation, motor neuron physiology, sports rehabilitation and modern rehabilitation technologies. Both experts are medical team members of Wuzhen Medical Park.
