The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of Wuzhen International Health Ecological Park Held

On June 28th 2012, the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of YaDa International Health Ecological Park and the Ground-breaking Ceremony of YaDa International Medical Park were held in Wuzhen, Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province. Participants included the Deputy Secretary-General of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor Mr. Xia Baolong, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Provincial Government Mr. Wang Jianman, Secretary General of Zhejiang Provincial Government Mr. Zhang Hongming, Director of the Land and Resources Department of Zhejiang Province Mr. Lou Xiaodong, Vice Secretary General of Zhejiang Provincial Government Mr. Xie Jijian, Director of Zhejiang Tourist Bureau Mr. Zhao Jinyong, Director of Economic Cooperation Office of Zhejiang Province Mr. Yao Shaoping, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Development and Reform Committee Mr. Huang Yong, Secretary-General of CPC Jiaxing Committee Mr. Li Weining, Mayor of Jiaxing City Ms. Lu Jun, Standing Vice Mayor of Jiaxing City Mr. Liang Qun, Secretary-General of CPC Tongxiang Committee Mr. Lu Yuedong, Mayor of Tongxiang City Mr. Sheng Yongjun, Chairman of YaDa International Mr. Jiang Jianning, Partner of IDG Capital Mr. Li Jianguang, Managing Director of Sequoia Capital Mr. Yao Yu, Managing Director of Yunfeng Capital Mr. Zhu Yikai, Vice President of German-Sino Healthcare Group Mr. Markus Fehr, Founder President of Medical Park Mr. Hubert Hörterer, Medical Director of the MEDIAN Klinik Berlin Mr. Karl-Heinz Mauritz, GMP Chief Designer of Wuzhen Medical Park Mr. Johann von Mansberg, government officials from Jiaxing City and Tongxiang City and representatives from all the cooperation companies. Besides, over 20 famous state media and local media from Shanghai and Zhejiang reported on the event, such as CCTV, Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, the Economic Daily, Jiefang Daily, Wen Wei Po, Dragon TV, Zhejiang Daily and Zhejiang TV.

At the ceremony, Mr. Jiang Jianning expressed great gratitude to those who had given persistent supports to Wuzhen project. He pointed that as the first project invested by YaDa International, Wuzhen International Health Ecological Park attained all favorable conditions. Since the formal agreement with Tongxiang Government was signed last May, YaDa International had cooperated with many professional institutes at home and abroad on the project and had jointly completed the market research and the project assessment. Experts in the fields of healthcare, planning and design etc. were also invited to modify and improve the master plan repeatedly. With over one year’s joint efforts of all parties and under the governmental supports at the provincial and municipal levels, Wuzhen Project eventually made  substantive progress in the land supply and administrative approval. YaDa International was determined to make the project an excellent example with nation-wide influence by overcoming all difficulties.

Mayor of Jiaxing City Ms. Lu Jun indicated in her address that Wuzhen International Health Ecological Park was a big project that integrated healthcare, medical care, eldercare and leisure services. She sincerely hoped that the project could boost the rapid and sound development of Jiaxing service industry and enhance the regional core competitiveness as the benchmark of healthcare and eldercare in Zhejiang Province, in the Yangtze Delta and even nationwide.

Secretary-General of CPC Tongxiang Committee Mr. Lu Yuedong pointed in his speech that it was a demanding task to transform Tongxiang’s economy while maintaining its development. At the 13th Party Congress of Tongxiang City, it had put forth the planning of “developing the city by industry and commerce” which lay the same importances to the advanced manufacturing and the modern service industry. With these two driving forces, Tongxiang would be developed as a real economic power. Lu said, under the favorable conditions of inviting Zhejiang merchants investing at home, Wuzhen International Health Ecological Park would not only occupy the top position in the service industry and also be the key project to build a wealthy, civilized and modernized Tongxiang. Moreover, it would be helpful to improve local service level, to accelerate the transformation of economic growing mode, and to develop the city as national leisure and well-being destination in the future.

At the end of the ceremony, the Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province Mr. Wang Jianman declared the ground-breaking of Wuzhen International Health Ecological Park and YaDa International Medical Park. With the salvo and fireworks, the project was formally started. All officials and guests from rostrum earthed up the foundation stone of Wuzhen International Health Ecological Park, which marked the dawn of the formal beginning of construction.
