Wuzhen Yada IHEP Held Father’s Day Series Activities

On June 16th 2019, the third Sunday of June, Father’s Day, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park (IHEP) held a series of activities at different zones to celebrate the festival for fathers there.

Monthly Birthday Party in June of Wuzhen Graceland was held on Father’s Day. At the Party, Graceland residents not only sent birthday wishes to the elderly who were born in June, but also gave festival gifts to fathers present by songs and poems. They also expressed their thanks to “Fathers” in their families respectively.

On Father’s Day, Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital held Wuzhen Graceland Large-scale Free Clinic at the small auditorium of Zhejiang Yada IHEP. Yada Hospital invited medical experts from eleven disciplines to offer Graceland residents professional and convenient medical consultancy and diagnosis services. The activity attracted hundreds of residents to attend.

This Free Clinic aims to create a seasonal health protection for the elderly as it mainly focuses on the health problems common in elderly group in spring and summer. Medical experts from eleven disciplines offered medical consultancy together, namely ENT, dermatology department, ophthalmology department, gastroenterology department, traditional Chinese medicine department, nutrition department, neurology department, dental department, endocrinology department, cardiovascular medicine department and rehabilitation department. The elderly could conveniently and efficiently consult what they need at one stop.

Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center organized a unique Father’s Day activity, which let female elderly people to attend. They designed and handmade Father’s Day poster for the male in the Center as the festival gift.

The Father’s Day series activities promotes exchanges and communication among the elderly residents in the Park. Varied kinds of activity forms enrich the spiritual & cultural life, and enhance the cultural connotation of Wuzhen Yada IHEP by stressing the spirit of gratitude and filial piety.
