Ministry of Civil Affairs: Prevent Aged-care Institutions Sell health food and drug

Recently, the Ministry of Civil Affairs organized the drafting of the mandatory national standard for the “Safety Regulations for Basic Services of Aged-care Institutions (Draft for Comment)”. The "Standard" proposes that food and self-prepared drug should be regularly inspected in case of the elderly  eating out of expired and deteriorated ones; foods that are not suitable for the elderly eaten should be communicated with relevant third parties; selling health food and drug inside aged-care institutions should be prevented; providing medication management service should sign a drug administration agreement, accurately check the distribution of drugs.
