Medical Services Nationwide Have Recovered 80%

On April 21st, the State Council's Joint Defense and Joint Control Institution held a press conference on the management services of patients discharged with novel coronavirus. The National Health Commission said that the return of normal medical services in the country has achieved good results. Except for Wuhan and Harbin, normal medical services in other regions have been restored to 80% with the same period last year.

Low-risk areas should fully speed up the restoration of normal medical services, as well as the daily outpatient, emergency, inpatient and surgical services should be fully restored to meet the needs of daily medical treatment. At the same time, hospitals should improve the fever consultation, pre-examination & triage, strengthen the prevention & control of infection, and prevent the spread of infection.
