State Council Releases New Regulations for Medical Insurance Supervision

General Office of State Council recently issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Reform of Medical Insurance Supervision System". The Document says that it is necessary to improve the medical insurance monitoring mechanism for medical service behavior, extend the supervision target from medical institutions to medical personnel, and shift the focus of supervision from medical expense control to dual control of medical expenses and medical service performance. This also means that once a designated medical institution has fraudulently defrauded, it will not only have an impact on the designated agreement of the medical institution, but will also affect the performance of the medical staff and their credit evaluation.
