Wuzhen Graceland Held Army Day Evening Party Successfully

On August 1st, the 94 anniversary of the founding of Chinese People’s Liberation Army, Wuzhen Graceland invited Wuzhen People’s Armed Forces Department to jointly hold the Army Day Evening Party with Graceland residents, paying a tribute to the loveliest people.  

The Party started with the drum dance Love My China. Heart-stirring drumbeat brought the audience back to the eventful days, expressing the love to motherland.

Graceland Poetry Reading Club, Dance Club and Kidult Club then gave wonderful performance respectively. The poetry recitation Ode to August 1st Army Flag and I Am a Boat paid a deep tribute to great Communist Party of China. The dance Azalea expressed the admiration to heroes by beautiful movements and postures. The instrumental music and songs Starry Skies and The Moon in Mid-Autumn showed the wish to family reunion.

Programs full of enthusiasm by staff of Wuzhen Armed Forces Department and Graceland residents were performed one by one, bringing the Party’s atmosphere to the climax over and over again.

Dance and cheongsam show Ode to the Country by Wuzhen Armed Forces Department displayed great China’s prime in the new century. Message with Steely Will to Next Generations by veterans from Graceland and new soldiers from the Armed Forces Department delivered soldiers’ feelings and thoughts.

Graceland Dance Art Club told the change of the country with a graceful dance. The Appreciate the Moon on the Mid-Autumn Festival Night selection from the classic Shaoxing opera Pursuing and Asking for Wife by Shaoxing Opera Club displayed the charm of Jiangnan culture.

At the end of the Party, Wuzhen Armed Forces Department showed the elegance of soldier by impassioned poetry recitation Stay True to the Party’s Original Aspiration and the Founding Mission and a vivid melodrama The Red Army Is Not Afraid of The Long March. The music show Ink Lanting Pavilion by Graceland Music Show Club and the semi chorus Fellow Villagers all over the World by Graceland residents expressed the public support to soldiers.

The army and the people jointly build a deep relationship like fish and water. Wuzhen Graceland Army Day Evening Party ended with the chorus I Am a Solider successfully. Peaceful days cannot be divorced from soldiers’ efforts in guarding the country. Harmonious community depends on the residents who live and work in peace and contentment. Wuzhen Graceland insists creating excellent community culture by diversified spiritual & cultural life. This Party, as a large-scale event jointly held by the army and the residents, fully showed the love to the Party and the country of Graceland residents, also improved the connotation of Graceland cultural activities.
